Ms Kate Heer

Special Interests: General Paediatrics, Rhinology

Kate graduated from the University of Otago Medical School in 1992, and completed her specialist training in ENT Surgery in 2004. Kate is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a member of the New Zealand Society of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery.

Kate has worked in private practice since 2004. Shortly after commencing private practice she had her first daughter, followed by a second daughter in 2009. Balancing the demands of parenting and career has been challenging but rewarding. She particularly enjoys working with families to help improve their children’s health and wellbeing.

Kate holds clinics at the Marinoto Clinic in Dunedin, Gore Hospital Outpatients and the Cromwell Medical Centre. She operates at the Mercy Hospital in Dunedin. She warmly welcomes new patients and aims to provide a positive experience and outcome for all her patients. Kate is a member of NZOHNS and RACS.
